The Town of West Seneca Police Department offers a number of services to people in need. Many of these services are of a routine nature but people do not always know where to go to get them. Listed below are directions on how to access services you may need from our department.
FINGERPRINTS:
Due to the increase use of background checks on persons applying for
licenses, certifications or job opportunities many people need to have their
fingerprints taken. Residents of the Town of West Seneca can have their
fingerprints taken free of charge by contacting Detective Joseph Turkovich at
716-558-3129. You will need to make an appointment for this service.
For fingerprint checks where no print cards are provided by an employer, etc.,
visit the FBI web site at www.fbi.gov.
Follow the link for fingerprints. You will be able to print a form to
bring into the police department. All instructions will be included.
RECORD CHECKS: Persons that have been arrested in the Town of West Seneca can apply in person for a copy of their criminal arrest record. You need to contact our Records Department on the first floor of the West Seneca Town Hall during normal business hours. Proper identification is needed.
ACCIDENT REPORTS: People that have been involved in an automobile accident can receive a copy of the police accident report by coming to our station in person. There is no charge for this service. Non victims must contact our Records Department during normal business hours. There is a fee for this service.
POLICE REPORTS:
Victims of an offense may receive a copy of the original police report filed on
the incident under certain circumstances. To see what you are entitled to

Records Department during normal business hours.
(FOIA) Freedom Of Information Act: All requests for reports and documents covered under this federal
law should be directed to the West Seneca Town Attorney's Office. For more
information contact 558-3240.
STATION TOURS: Civic Groups that are interested in having a guided tour of our department by a police officer should contact Asst Chief Dan Denz or Capt.Michael Boehringer at 674-3059.
ANONYMOUS TIP LINE: If you have information about a crime that has been committed, ongoing criminal activity or any other information that you believe the police need to know about and you do not want your identification known you can leave the information on our Anonymous Tip Line at 716-675-8423. All information is kept confidential.
