The problem of drugs and alcohol is one that has been with our society for generations. The way the problem has been addressed over the years is as varied as it is long. Statistically researchers have shown that a majority of the people that commit crimes, especially ones of physical violence, are under the influence of alcohol or drugs when they commit these offenses. If they are correct one can obviously see the scope of the problem we are faced with.
