CITIZEN POLICE ACADEMY
The Town of West Seneca Police Department runs two Citizen Police Academies per calendar year. Our next session will start in the Spring of 2009.
The academy is run on Wednesday nights from 7pm till 10pm and it enables the participants to see how the department is organized and run from many different levels. Participants have the chance to fire department weapons on our shooting range, work with officers in learning about many different types of non-lethal weapons that we use and also to learn how many different specialty units work in our department.
